Bed was also super comfortable and on the firmer side which I much prefer. I haven't explained it very well but the design is both aesthetically pleasing and utilitarian. The bathroom is basically at the bottom of the bed but there is plenty of room and there are sliding doors for privacy. The large bathroom has a big, effective, walk-in shower which is far preferable to a shower-over-bathtub one usually sees. The doors are offset at a slight angle all the way down the corridors which sounds odd but makes sense when you see it, and I think it aids the room layout which has an entry space with a desk and a sofa bed, which forms a fairly discrete working area should you be so inclined. One can tell they have been thoughtfully designed and break from the traditional layouts one finds in most hotels. Can't really comment on the other facilities here as we only stayed a matter of hours. This common area is also the venue for the morning breakfast which was, again, pretty standard but with a good choice and presented in a COVID aware way. First though, the reception area is standard but the staff very friendly and we were quickly on our way to the room in under two minutes. Hotel rooms at this level tend to be formulaic and there is nothing wrong with that, but these rooms are superbly designed to maximize the space and the interest. One night stay ahead of an early flight and I highly recommend this hotel if you are in a similar position or, indeed, should you plan to stay longer. My friend and I were concerned about the safety of guests, especially children, if something like a heavy TV could fall off a wall! We hope the hotel management/owner has taken steps to mitigate this safety issue.… We were shocked on the last night of our stay when we put the TV back in place that it fell off the wall! Panic! Upon talking to the hotel manager the following morning, we were told that there was an ongoing lawsuit against a contractor who did not use anchors when installing televisions, towel bars, etc. A large flat-screen TV was mounted on the wall between the bedroom and the sofa. The walk-in closet was spacious and additional hangers were provided upon request as there were only a few in the closet. There was no dresser but rather a side/sofa table with two drawers and a shelf underneath for storage, but more drawers would have been helpful given the length of our stay. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. One outlet on the nightstand was not working. No face cloths were provided and we had to ask the front desk for some. The bathroom was spacious with plenty of counter space. Our queen suite was very spacious with a small refrigerator (no freezer, however), microwave, and mini coffeemaker. ![]() I stayed here with an out-of-town friend on a long weekend.
